【Stroke Case at Age 26 | Improvements After Acupuncture】
Recently, I treated a 26-year-old patient whose condition left a deep impression on me.
He suffered a stroke (cerebrovascular condition) and presented with the following symptoms:
• Tongue deviation to one side
• Slurred speech
• Difficulty in pronunciation
At such a young age, this is relatively uncommon. However, in recent years, stroke cases are becoming increasingly younger, which is something we should all take seriously.
During the initial consultation, his tongue was clearly deviated, and his speech was unclear. After a thorough assessment, I designed a treatment plan focused primarily on acupuncture, targeting specific points to aid recovery.
After several sessions, noticeable improvements were observed:
• The tongue gradually moved back toward the center
• Speech became clearer
• Better control over pronunciation
Although he is still in the recovery phase, this progress is a very encouraging step forward.
